Our website is deliberately quiet. It uses one small browser preference so that a notice does not appear on every visit, and it does not set advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.
We provide services exclusively to businesses and organizations. We do not offer consumer or personal-device support. Minimum engagement: organizations with 10 or more staff who need access.
What this site stores
When you choose an option on the notice at the bottom of the page, we store a single preference in your browser's local storage. That value records only that you have made a choice, so the notice stays hidden afterwards. It contains no identifier for you, no history of what you have read and nothing that follows you to another site.
We do not set cookies for advertising, we do not embed social media trackers, and we do not run third-party analytics that build a profile of your visits. What we do keep, in aggregate form, is basic information about how the site performs, so that pages which fail to load can be noticed and fixed.
The categories, and what we use
- Essential preference. The one value described above, stored in local storage, remembering your choice about the notice. There is no way to operate the notice sensibly without it.
- Performance information. Aggregate counts of page visits and errors, held without a profile of any individual.
- Advertising. None. We do not run advertising cookies or share anything with an advertising network.
Managing your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the stored preference in your browser settings, after which the notice will appear once more. You can also set your browser to block local storage altogether, though the notice will then keep appearing because we cannot remember your answer. None of this affects your ability to read anything on the site.
Cookies and the service we provide
This policy concerns the website. The arrangement we operate for a customer organisation is a separate matter, governed by the customer agreement and our privacy policy. Where we handle information in the course of operating an arrangement, we do so on the organisation's instructions and not for any purpose of our own.
