Accessibility
Everyone who visits this site to evaluate our service should be able to read it, navigate it and understand it. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and we take the aims of the ADA seriously as a matter of principle, not merely compliance.
We provide services exclusively to businesses and organizations. We do not offer consumer or personal-device support. Minimum engagement: organizations with 10 or more staff who need access.
Our commitment
We build this website so that it can be used with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, at increased text size and in high contrast. The content is written in plain language, the structure uses proper headings, and images that carry meaning have descriptive text so that nothing important depends on seeing a picture.
Accessibility is a continuing effort rather than a single task. A site can pass a review on one day and drift on the next, so we check as we change things rather than waiting for a formal audit to reveal what slipped.
What we do in practice
- Headings, lists and tables are marked up so assistive technology can interpret them correctly.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and text meets contrast guidance against its background.
- Links are written so they make sense when read out of context, rather than as bare instructions.
- Interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus state.
- Text can be enlarged without breaking the layout or hiding content.
- Forms have labels tied to their fields, so every input is announced clearly.
Known limitations
We are honest about where things stand. Some older content may not yet meet every guideline, and a third-party component occasionally falls short of our own standard. Where we find such a case we correct it or replace it, and we would rather hear about it from you than leave it unnoticed. Nothing on this site is intentionally made harder to use.
Telling us about a barrier
If you meet something on this site that you cannot use, write to [email protected]. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond with an answer and, where a fix is needed, a timescale for it. Where an alternative format would help you, ask for it: a document in a different form, a larger text version, or a summary of a page read out in a call, and we will provide it.
Accessibility of the service itself
Because we operate arrangements for organisations, accessibility also touches our work indirectly. Documents we produce, such as policies and reports, are written in clear language and structured so they can be read with assistive technology. If a member of your team needs something we produce in a different form, ask your point of contact and we will accommodate it.
